    Press Conference Notes

Didnt Catch all of it today sadly - Might be worth reading the QPR Tiwtter feed. However...

    - Everyone who played last week is fine. Bobby is out til Xmas time. AJ - whe could be fit following the break

    - Barnsley will not be easy, there is NEVER an easy game. Anyone who thinks that there is an easy game, or thinks its another easy 3 points for QPR then think again.
    - Nothing in it at the top - All good teams, really wide open. We had a superb start and we haven't pulled away yet. Going to be extremely tight, and an exciting year.

Good Atmosphere around the club, got rid of 18, brought lads in WHO want to be here. Cant ask for much more, and it shows in their performance. No player is moping around, its a good club to come work at every day. Even if we wasn't winning it would be good, the players want to train hard and do well for the club and that's all I can ask for.

    Townsend:
    - He is the nearest thing we have to Robben.
    - Good player, runs at defense

    Tom Carroll
    - Real footballer
    - Big future
    - Wants to play football.

With the obligatory Tottenham talk ...... It's a QPR press conference for a game in the championship... about time these reporters sort their lives out.

Yeah - to be honest, I only write them up based on.

          1. I am always tuned in
          2. The QPR twitter feed only gives a quick brief description
          3. The QPR feed occasionally words things differently or misses stuff out.

Not sure if today's Press conference was posted, but since it was fairly short I've added it to the last one.
              QPR FC ‏@OfficialQPR 7h
Harry Redknapp: 'Tom Carroll picked up a nasty ankle injury playing for England Under-21s. He's out tomorrow.'
'It's a blow - Tom's [Carroll] been excellent for us. He's gone back to Spursl for a couple of weeks for treatment.'
'AJ [Andy Johnson] is nearing a return. But Nedum [Onuoha] is still out.'
HR (on Millwall): 'It'll be a tough test for us - they got beat at Bournemouth last time out, but it'll still be difficult.'
'Benoit [Assou-Ekotto] and Niko [Kranjcar] have come in and been excellent for us.'
'We've been playing some good football in recent weeks and I think we're starting to come into our game.'
'I've been pleased with Charlie [Austin]. I see improvement from him every day. He's played the lone striker role so well.'
'With Steve McClaren's departure, we'll perhaps look to add to our backroom team again, but let's wait and see.'
Redknapp also confirms that Junior Hoilett is fully fit and available for selection tomorrow.
