The reason he didn't take longshots like adel is because unlike adel or any player in his vein, Nico will play for the team. That tiki taka football in the second half was created by his movement and willingness to take the ball and move it around. If we still had taarabt, that move would have never happened and middlesbrough would have had a goal kick. One of the reasons that we have succeeded so well this season is because we didn't have a player like taarabt who hogs the ball and loses it in his own half. As proven by taarabt, magic gets you nowhere without a work ethic.
We need to start scoring goals outside the box instead of on 6 yard box, so an adel type player who will take shots outside if the box is needed, because we can't keep scoring from 6 yards or closer it won't get us promoted
