England are missing someone with passion in the Midfield, that will get stuck in and fight.
He has done stupid things in his past, but really looks like a leader this season that just wants to get on and do his job.

I agree I think he would benefit the england side as he's a leader and a good character to have in the dressing room..but with Carrick, Wilshere, Gerrard, Lampard, Parker and possibly Barkley in the frame he has absolutely no chance lol.

I think players like Gerrard n Lampard don't go in for the 50/50's that Barton would.
