I'm by no means a car fancier, they're a functional thing for me, but I was gobsmacked when I saw a Gallardo up close. Lime green paintjob, with the same colour picked out on black alloys.Trumpet blow? Just having a civilised chat about cars aren't we? That's how I see it anyway.
Got nothing to trumpet blow about really V.... A 911? No big deal, they're two a penny, bit like Beemers.
Now if it was a Prancing Horse or Lambo, that's a different matter.....wouldn't own up to owning one of those on here....too many green eyed monsters.
Just beautiful, and the guy had random women walking up to talk to him as he was filling up at the pump.
He was quite rightly an extremely smug man.

Lime green is a bit tacky Deeps, a car like a Lambo needs a subtle paintjob imo.I'm by no means a car fancier, they're a functional thing for me, but I was gobsmacked when I saw a Gallardo up close. Lime green paintjob, with the same colour picked out on black alloys.

Personally don't like Lambos, but can understand those who do.......they do make a great sound though, but a very different sound to the 911 which is more of a distinctive burble......no music required!Comment

This is going to be one of those classic all time threadsI blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley BowlesComment

Still remember the number plate of my very first Capri, was a 1974 Mk II, 2.0GT in bright canary yellow. Loved that car so much. Had a Cortina 1600e before that, but it kept going wrong.
