All teams played so far are much the same,not much quality and we have struggled. On paper we have probably the best squad and attacking options in the league but are creating F All. Everytime we go to counter attack we get to the halfway line and then get a nose bleed and stop and pass back, the worse culprit being O'neill.

The reason being he played off the shoulder of a target man and found the ball continually falling in the box for him to finish but with us his dropping deep to find the ball hence has his back to goal and nowhere to go.

to be fair last nights game he found him self facing the goal with only the keeper to beat from 3 yards and missed the target. Also had a shot he sliced so bad it nearly went for a throw in. Proof is in the pudding though his record speaks for it self so I am sure he will come good.

Both teams had basically zero strikers (their's are all out injured or suspended, ours are injured or have lost sight of goal in Austin) so it was never going to be pretty anyway. Phillips needs a bit of time to get his fitness back and at home we are going to need to break down teams. It'll happen, in the meantime I'll take mediocre play and keeping five clean sheets and picking up wins thanks.
