    Will Remy's 8million relegation buy out clause end if QPR get promotion?

    As the title says. End of the day QPR got relegated & Remy has a clause he can leave for 8m when QPR were relegated(Redknapp confirmed this last season). So in my eyes the clause will stand regardless if QPR get promotion

    Is anyone clever enough to know or look it up in the rule book regarding this? I'm sure all fans would be interested to know the answer

    Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
    Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
    Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free

      I dont think there is a rulebook we can follow on this, it all depends on how its written into the contract.

          Can't see that tight git Ashley paying 8 mill for him, I reckon he will be back. Not sure if that will be such a good thing though.

                      Well I'm interested in the answer to the OP's question.

                      Without knowing the contract's specific details, I'm guessing we'll only find that out if we do go up.

                                  just another mercenary, id prefer him to be sold and get someone else to be honest. If and when we go up, I reckon Defoe will deffo come to us then, he will do.

                                                      I don't think it matters to much , if he does well for Newcaslte they will have to buy him for 8 mil. if not we can have him back or sell him for cheaper.
