This brings me to another point. Before my numbers up,I'd like nothing more than to meet for a pre match drink sometime with a few of you guys on this site. Some that come to mind are my mate J (Stainrodisalegend),my one time adopted son Ted before he wanted Zamora to break his leg,MYU,Bushcelti,TWranger,Ranger77,West Acton,Loftus Rd Lad,VBlock (as that's my BLock)and others I've failed to mention. How about it lads ? To make an old boy happy.
I absolutely despise supporters like the ones you have described. Telling other fans to 'shut up' as if they've been appointed as the Stalinist thought police. If you pay your money to see the team every week, you reserve the right to express your opinion, whether they like it or not (within reason of course - no place for racism etc). I disagree with booing players, but there's nothing wrong with airing your frustration at a footballer like Zamora, who really is robbing a living.

My thoughts exactly Harry must now see that Bobby is shot and of no use at all to us it's like playing with 10 men when he's on the pitch now.

          "

Thanks Godfather,I wouldn't mind but all I commented on was his inability to get his feet off the ground and for a player of around 6'3" to win the occasional ball in the air,his continual losing possession and his overall apparent lack of interest.I think for a life long, supporter of 62 years I'm entitled to an opinion.

Zamora's crocked and he knows it, I find it pretty sad that he's constantly berated, but bar Arsenal at home 2 seasons ago I can't think of a decent game he's had...

Well I wish we had more of them. The first game (vs. Swansea) last season was spoiled for me not just by our hapless performance and the result, but by some idiot nearby ranting + f***ing and blinding loudly about the fact that Swansea were Welsh. As we should all have realised of course, the Welsh problem was actually our own manager.....

Ha. Each to their own, but I've never understood abusing opposing players for doing their job well. Fair play to them. Especially when our players are doing their job badly. The little right winger got a lot of stick Saturday first half from R and S blocks Ellerslie, but as far as I could see he wasn't a bad fella, was trying for his team (and giving his own team mates some stick occasionally...). Intimidating the opposition by cheering for us, now that's another matter.....

Not all of them are from White City, might have to go their gaff further afield.
My old man was the star player for HMP Parkhurst during their successful and unbeaten 77/78 season.

Always rated Chris Burke,a real handful whenever he's played against us.
