think about it. Napoli wanted him but went for Reina as cesars wages demands was too high. Reina would've been on more than 50k a week at liverpool surely.
Reina was one of the highest earners at Liverpool on about £100k a week apparently. I doubt we've got Cesar on that.

He was on extended leave for after the Confed Cup, no idea since then.

Brazil are playing a friendly this weekend in Brasilia. Has he gone off to play there?

Funny how these players only come out after they didn't get sold saying they never wanted to leave. He didn't mention this at during the transfer window. They obviously think us fans are thick. But whats done is done. I have no problem him playing but will have to earn it again, starting at being our number 3 keeper.

He did come out during the window saying he doesnt mind if he goes or stays though. Even then people said 'OH HES TALKIN BOLLORKS WHAT A D1K!'. He can't win really. Suppose thats always the way with football fans.

For me this is about Rob Green - he has had a great start to the season - I don't give two hoots about Cesar - he was indifferent at best last season - he will simply have to work his socks off in training and keep his gob shut and hope his opportunity comes again - but I'm not a fan of his or more so his agent

Rob Green has been outstanding, and his attitude is second to none as well. Much prefer him to Ceaser, and will be really peed off if Harry drops him for the Brazilian fella.

the smile on Greens face at the end of the Leeds game speaks volumns for me, it won't only be Rob pi**ed off if he unjustly gets dropped

Well you're wrong there because Cesar has been training with the squad and he's also been attending our games even when he hasn't been included in the squad. He wasn't involved in pre-season because he played in the Confederations Cup

                        I'll second that!

Beggars belief the amount of people suggesting that Green should be dropped in favour of Cesar, did we not learn anything from last season?!!!

Brazil's no1 or England's no4? I'd bring in ceaser ASAP. Some have short memories of how good he actually is

I don't think Green will be dropped for Cesar unless his form dips and so far he has shown no sign of that so Cesar better get used to hanging around. Either way if Green or Cesar is in goal we going to be spunking 60bags a week on a reserve keeper so no real benefit in dropping Green to appease Cesar as there is no financial benefit.

Green holds the shirt and long may it continue
