As many of the posters here don't seem to follow football other than QPR, I though I'd post this article about Ekotto which I came across a few years back when I had him in my fantasy team and wanted to find out more about him.

I admire him for his honesty that he plays for the money, and one word of caution for the Taarabt haters - at least at that time Tarbs was the only phone contact he had from football!

tbh most of the players at the higher levels seem to be largely motivated by money. I really don't care as long as they perform well.
as he is on loan it wont make any real difference at the end of the season. if he helps QPR to win promotion we will be pleased with his contribution regardless of whether he did it for money,love of football or just the knowledge that he has been successful.
