Apprently so, i'd expect 2 strikers if Zamora left tbh

I wouldn't mind say Crouch or Wells & then get a striker onloan like Tottenham's Harry Kane or Liverpool's Adam Morgan
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I've been hearing this all week being based down in Brighton. Main person I heard it from got it from people within the club. However I do take it with a pinch of salt. This guy has basically taken over our minor involvement with the club so mainly talks to the kind of people I used to talk to in the club. Occasionally you would get a bit of full on ITK information but often you would get passed a snippet and then nothing would happen. Bit like this board!

Bobby Z does sometimes come to games at the Amex so remains on good terms with the club so there could have been talks but who knows.

Whilst not flavour of the month in my view we would need to bring in two strikers to justify letting him go as we are one short already.

It wouldn't surprise me to see H in touch with Spurs I could see him moving for Harry Kane if BZ does move on

Are you sure Zamora isn't retiring there?

If we offloaded him it would be the single best bit of business all summer.... regardless if we sign a striker of not as he's completely ineffectual when playing so i'd rather any other squad player up front than him.

Is he really going? I can't believe it!
HR starts him every week and I can't see him leaving, this sounds like more made up twitter rubbish.

                      No chance.

For a start, with his hip he won't be able to leg it if someone tries to bum him in the lanes.

He only started him when he had to because AJ was injured and in the fizzy pop cup. Hardly every week and it is clear that if Austin and AJ are fit he won't start

Apparently, when he left Brighton he said that he would like to finish his career there.

When he played for West Ham against them in the Championship a couple of years back, the Brighton fans pretty much cheered everything he did. (I assume he did things then). A bit like the Lee Cook scenario when he came back to LR with Charlton.

Very popular down here. They even named a road after him.

He passed with flying colours here, so did Phillips.

                            That's funny David .

I agree, I like to back up QPR players but everytime I see Zamora actually play I think to myself, Jesus, we'd be better off playing a dog over this donkey

I feel sorry for Zamora to be honest. The biggest part of his game for his whole career has been his ability to hold the ball up, bring people into play and his aerial prowess. This injury is hindering him from all of those things lately leaving him pretty much ineffective. It's a shame really, when he was scoring at the beginning of last season, his all around play was quality.
