Doyle works very hard but his goalscoring record is shocking of late. It all depends how much the deal is worth. Personally I'd rather spend less (Transfer fee and wages) on Nahki Wells who is young and will improve hugely in the next few years and he already looks a born goalscorer. I'd then look at bringing in a loan striker, someone like Becchio.

Yeah, but as per my comment above, he's been in a side that have got relegated 2 years running and by default must have been shocking, so how many chances would they have created for him....??? Especially as before last season they lost all their creative players such as Jarvis, and the other winger who's name escapes me, not to mention Fletcher.

There are rumours of several premiership teams being interested but so far nothing seems to have happened. Swansea were interested but that seems to have stalled and now Cardiff and Stoke are apparently interested. Crouch would be more of a target man for assists than a goalscorer. Still would offer more than Bobby Zamora.

Kevin Doyle? Not for me, Sharpe really is a top target for me, also having thought about it Wells seems a good target. As for Crouch, I think he's a seriously good target too but I would prefer younger players

Would be a great signing. He IS one of them who wants to play here, that´s for sure(If the money is right). Hopefully, he has kept his form during his protest against West Brom.

I'm not really sure that Zamora should be our benchmark right now. Personally I'd probably pick Yousef upfront instead of Zamora on current form.

Nakhi Wells or Billy Sharpe for me........both better options than a couple of strikers on big wages that used to be good a few years back!
