I must be in a minority then as I think Crouchy would be great for us. Yes he has struggled of late with sjoke but that's their way of football. He will be rejunvenated under Harry and I'm sure would relish coming back to us. He would do well in the Championship imo for what it's worth

Minority yes, alone no. Some people have a hang up because he is apparently too old, others think he is suited to a long ball game even though aerial strength is actually his weakest point others just like to moan and don't need a reason to say no. Me, I think he would be a good signing and would mean us scoring more goals than we will at present.

I think the main worry with Crouch would be his high wage demands.

If he wanted something reasonable then it might be a different story.

Not really sure about this one? is Doyle that good ? obviously not good enough to keep wolves up. bit disappointed if this happens feel we could get better? would prefer James Vaughan from huddersfield dont think they'd sell also might cost a few quid

Apparently "close" - not sure he's quite right to link with AJ or Austin but has a decent record. Any thoughts?

Sorry just seen this post for 1st time so don't know if anyone already said this, but can people stop thinking of a random player and say the deal is 'close' or in talks or whatever to get a response from people. You know this isn't true.

Speaking of which ive just heard that Wayne Rooney signing for Qpr is in the contract stages. He just gotta pass a medical then deal should be done.
