Crouch won't be better than Zamora imo.

In my opinion I think Crouch would score and assist a more in 10 games than Zamora would do in 2 to 3 years.

Not a bad striker imo, not a PL striker but will not do bad in the Championship as he is a modern type of player. For him a switch towards QPR is a good thing so we'd probably get another player that really wants to play for the club, I could do with him for sure..

Not sure why the Crouch love in on this site. Yes he may be better than Zamora right now, but that's becasue Zamora can't run, jump or kick a ball anymore. Crouch now is where Zamora was when we signed him, ie ar5e end of his carrer and seriously on the slide to the point of being ineffectual. He would be a monumental waste of money!!!

As for Doyle i can see it and would be happy with it. He is a decent striker who's lost his way at a club on a steep slope downwards the last 2 years..... ask yourself this, he's always been decent, but how many chances would have been created for him in 2 back to back relegation seasons...? not many id imagine. If ever a player needed a fresh start it's him and i think he could regain that spark with us and do a very good job at this level in a side like ours that will create chances and compete.

Also, lets not forget he'll know Henry very well along with Richard Dunne from Ireland duty..... i can see this happening.

Doyle works very hard but his goalscoring record is shocking of late. It all depends how much the deal is worth. Personally I'd rather spend less (Transfer fee and wages) on Nahki Wells who is young and will improve hugely in the next few years and he already looks a born goalscorer. I'd then look at bringing in a loan striker, someone like Becchio.
