I'm still concerned about your gator. People will think they can be found in Canada (I know you said you lived in Florida and about 90% of the snowbirds here come from Canada). We found a gator sitting on our porch this afternoon. We called the gator patrol, who first of all said they could not do anything because it wasn't 6 foot long. Finally we persuaded them that our porch was private property and it would be a good idea to remove it, which they reluctantly did.

The best advice I can give you is don't try removing it yourself no matter what the size, even the smaller ones have sharp teeth!
