IMO - I wouldnt be angry at all if we kept Diakite.

Clearly had his personally problems and wasnt rated last season by Harry...

But with losing out on Parker, I would keep Diakite - Good strong player, just needs to calm down when tackling.

It was odd though because Harry played him four of the first seven games, had him on the bench for the other three, and then he wasn't see in the squad again until Everton where he came on just over halfway through the second half and didn't really do much wrong. Then he was on the bench for the next game, only to then never be heard from again.

Great squad player, probably not close to being in the first team with the competition currently.

Under the right guidance and coaching he could become a real good player. Would like to see him play tonight. Luke Young too, thought he was one of our better players in his first season, one bad game against Sunderland and he was never to be seen again!

we all know he can deliver when his head is together, however he seems to have been plagued by a series of mystery injuries and mental conditions without any real explanation from the club as to what is happening regarding him.

I think the fact we dont know the full story behind this, let alone the fact that something bad could of happened to him.

We won't know the facts due to the law.

However. Said player has been out for the best part of a year due to "personal problems" and injury. Make of that what you will.
