Looking for some clarity here, as the window closing nears. By what date do we have to name our squad, and if we name the full quota how can we bring in loans after that date if they weren't included in the original squad? Can we substitute squad members for loan additions? I'm a bit woolly about this, grateful if the wise ones can help clarify...

You dont have to name a squad in the championship you can have have as many as you want the 25 man squad is a prem rule -
Think Harry will try to bring in 3 -4 more,Baird,a midfielder( on loan) and a striker if not 2,after letting nearly 30 players go and only bringing in 6 the squad is very small and a couple of injuries,especially to a striker and we could be in trouble,at least he is very aware of that and has already said the team for Swindon tonight picks itself as if he doesn't pick the senior players,all that's left are kids.Comment

I'm a little confused about this West Acton; I read somewhere recently (still looking for the link) that the year we came up the Football league met in Cyprus (why?!) and agreed to limit the squad size for the entire league(s) to 25, and apparently it was implemented the next season, which is why it was off our radar being at the top table at the time. Not doubting your information, just wondering if anyone remembers/heard of that Cyprus meeting?
At the moment we would struggle to name 21 never mind 25 so it's a little academic I concede...Comment
