Yep, especially in this transfers market. The prices are crazy

I still think QPR should go for Billy Sharp, would be brilliant here
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

£3 million for an unproven League 1 player

Not so keen at that price. Austin cost £4.5 mill and was one of the top scorers in the championship last season. Not doubting this guys talent but would be disappointed to pay that sort of price!!

3 Million is actually quite good if he is scoring in League 1. Im thinking along the lines of how much Rhodes cost...

Good players cost money. Its probably add ons as well...

Not to forget that we have lots of money and clubs will exploit that.

                    With add ons looks reasonable.

Cant we get Troy Deeney for the same price???? Plus it will weaken a good Watford side. Just a thought

Deeney IMO is worth around 5-6million at least currently. But I can imagine he would go for even more in todays market.

Well a couple more mills to what we rumoured to offer Nahki-Wells is worth it to get Deeney. But you maybe right in they may want even more than the 5-6 mills

Can't see Watford letting him go considering they are promotion contenders unless they need cash.

                              1.5 to 2 million tops.

Mackie went for 1 million and has done more.

DJ & Betty we let go for nothing.

perhaps that is a deal worth up to £3M when add ons are included i.e. £1.5M up front, £500K if promoted, £500k if scores more than 15 goals, and 500k if he wins a full international cap. They might also get a 10-15% sell on fee.
