I would suspect if he never earned a penny again as a footballer from today onwards he would still live comfortably on what he has earned in his career so far

If he really wants to play, he should be prapared for a wage cut an another club.

Really? I thought he played one brilliant game and then 4 bang average games. Compare his body language when playing for us and Brazil and it's clear he couldn't give a toss about us. I think he will agree to a move late on in the window, however if he doesn't, I hope Harry doesn't bring him anywhere near the first team. It will ruin the hard work that's been put in to rebuild a good dressing room.

Agreed, didn't look anything like one of the best goalkeepers in the world playing for us in my opinion. I also think money has obviously been a huge factor in how be brought him to the club and ironically it now looks like the reason we can't get shot of him.

I bet he goes in a loan deal at the end of the window with us picking up a huge chunk of his wages. The player probably knows this too, hence he has knocked back every club that has suggested he takes a drop in salary!
