I would however been amazed if you could select a keeper who has not played for 9months other then international friendlies.

Wonder if he will get a run out against Swindon???

Just purely speculating mate . I just can't understand that if he had the drive and desire to play why he wouldn't take a pay cut. After all he'd still be on unbeliavable money which us mere mortals can only fantasie about while playing at a higher level . Don't think harry would upset the apple cart by selecting him unless he absolutely has to

Is Kia his agent??? My thinking is they think they have us by the short and curlies as we want him of the payroll and he can therefore have his cake and eat it i.e. he can have his move and 100% of his wages as we will cover a proportion.

If Kia is involved I have no doubt he has a club already lined up for him to close off on the last day on a loan basis and when we get to the last day he thinks the club will have no option but to agree.

My concern is he will still has two years on his contract after this season so this charade if he is not playing will be a yearly game until his contract expires or someone takes him off our hands permanently

This is either an expensive game of bluff on both sides or as mentioned a bloke whose been told his target of being in the World Cup squad won't be compromised

I bet Kia Jawbigchin is juicing himself over this - he'll be telling JC to hold out with an eye on the cash till and nowt else

Come the end of the window I'd be surprised if we're not loaning him with us supplementing a large slice of his wages
Lets say that's 20k a week. Potentially that's £3.1 MILLION over the rest of his contract for a bloke who'll be playing for someone else
Leeds and Ridsdale springs to mind

If JC had refused to sit on the bench he'd be getting heaps but looks to me his approach is even worse than Bos****a as at least he F'd off!!!

        Surely Sjoke need another keeper?!
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

No idea but wouldn't remotely surprise me if that odious little rat was involved somewhere down the line , he proper screwed us . Time will tell I suppose but we need shot of him sooner rather than later . More than happy with greeno

I think he will land up at Arsenal before the end of the window in what guise I am not sure but they were clearly interested and clearly need a keeper so it makes sense.

Good keeper but if giving him a free saves us money in the long run then I think we should do it

If he's not gone by the end of this window - and I still think he will be - between now and Xmas you can be sure that one or more of those big European teams will have a goalkeeping crisis/injury on their hands and will be flapping about trying to get someone in; then he'll go.

Not a bad shout mate. Perhaps we bite the bullet for 4months and him and Kia will think need to change our game plan and drop our demands to get a move in Jan. Would give him 5months to earn a place for the WC

Cesar is starting to annoy me now. He knows we need to clear the decks and he is holding clubs to ransom with his demands.
I would rather stick with Green now, he is doing well.

It's simple. Cesar isn't ready for any wage cut so he will stay.

I would put efforts to shift Diakite and Mbia.

Thing is why? He's could ruin his own World Cup chances in his home country but not taking a pay cut he deserves because he's not great IMO. He won't get in the team over Green this year
                      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                      And many more mistakes

I know it's big money but surely the player must want to move & knows he won't get another offer like this so needs take a paycut, major factor your Brazil's number 1, but will muff up your chances of playing a World Cup in your own country if you don't.

I understand more money why take a pay cut arguments but I also think the players should be real to themselfs for happiness, true story my job atm is x amount a week & my dream job is actually less money then my current job, but for happyness reasons I'm trying to get my dream job, yes I'll get less money but I can still live off it & more be happy in that job

Can't blame him. Three years left on his contract, loads of money at stake. I'd understand if the player hadn't been putting in a shift but you can't fault his effort so blame the board for handing him such stupid wages.
