You see that ad at the top of the page? Every time you move on a page it changes. Less posts per page = more page changes = more ads served.

I suppose one way of dealing with comments like the above would be to point out the faults and inaccuracies just as aggressively as they were made and make those who posted them look pretty bl00dy stupid.

Alternatively, I could just point out very nicely that all posters have the facility in their "preferences", to adjust the number of posts per page to what they are most comfortable with.

Nothing wrong with having these ads whatsoever!
If it wasn't for the ads, everyone might be asked to pay a monthly or annual subscription to be a member and post on here, to pay for the running costs. If that was to happen, I guess those complaining about the ads would be the first to go into meltdown about having to pay to come on here. Can't have your cake and eat it!!

Of course. Common sense I would have thought. Not sure how many times these things need explaining, but other sites have adverts, it's just that the sites don't get money for them as they are hosted for free.

MYU just so happened to go down the route of paying for the hosting and working very hard to attract income to not only cover the costs, but to be able to offer the occasional prizes to members.

Some people prefer snidey digs than face the truth though. And some think the Koreans are obsessive.
