    Our defence

I am very happy as things are going. The team looks to be gelling quite well. However, I am a bit concerned about our defence. Make no mistake, on most occasions they looks solid. However, its that split of a second non-concentration that worries me. During the first half, there were two occasions were we gave the ball to the opponents rather stupidly. It reminded me of us in the Premier. Luckily, we were not punished.....should we win promotion we cannot go on making these silly mistakes. Concentration please.

Still think Dunne is a donkey when the ball is on the deck but all in all not too much to moan about. Nedum is a monster though think he is superb at CB.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Totally agree, Onuoha is dominating at this level.

We're still making mistakes and giving the ball away.

Thought Dunne did really well after the booking....had visions of a red for him, but handled their forwards without too much fuss

Personally think Dunne is blinding in the air but pony when the ball is on the deck.

If they had sharper strikers, they would be leading before half time and that would have been a different story. While I am enjoying the ride, we will be wise to look into these difficult situations. On the place of work, its not only the accidents that are investigated, but the near miss as well. The two lapses we had may be classified as near miss.

yeah and slow as we saw today, although we caught them time and again offside so the organisation is there

If we are going to play the whole season with this defence, It acuires that the holding midfielders can cover the space and keep us tight when we are taken on the break.
On set pieces against, we seem to be up to the task so far.

Only thing that worries me is counter attacks, we seem all over the place. However 2 clean sheets in a row, nothing to be worried about really

we look more organised at the back, won't face the same quality as last year but we should be comfortably good enough to contain most teams
special mention for Nedum who looked very shaky when he first came to us but the second half of last season and the beginning of this, he looks assured and confident, clearly a good long term prospect for us

Dunne was solid in the air today
