I heard that. Jamie Redknapp spoke about it on the Saturday Night Live show after the game.

I think it would of been a poor signing, why he went to City when he was on the Swansea bench summed the guy up for me.

Glad we've got Phillips on a perm deal, I also don't think it's Jamie place to say something but who cares, it's in the past now
                      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Swansea bench? Pretty sure he was a regular for them the season before his move and his performances were what convinced City to sign him even if it was only to be a squad player.

He would have been a fantastic signing at this level, was one of the star players the year we went up.

That's correct but never know why he left to sit on the bench for City?

They were premier league champions at the time and probably had hopes he would get more game time than he did.

Move didnt work out for him so he has moved on, fair play to him, could easily have continued to sit it out on a no doubt hefty wage.
