    Exclusive QPR

I was flicking through the programmes for the weekend and I found QPR v Bolton Wanderers for Saturday (for some reason in the US they put the home team last). Clicked on it to record, only to find you had to pay to watch beINgHD (the channel it is on). All of the premier matches are being shown for free on NBC sports.

beIN Sport US, as the channel is called, is owned by Al Jazeera and is a premium-ish channel for seeing decent amount of non-English football. When the Ligue 1, Serie A seasons, etc are on, they only show Championship fixtures during the odd kick off times. http://www.beinsport.tv/tv-guide

Most important to note though jmelanie, is that according to the site they are showing it at 9:30am NY time, which is 2:30pm London time. Aka, Bolton QPR will be a rebroadcast. I'm not sure why they're doing this other than the fact that 7:15AM may be too early for them to pay the TV rights and recoup the return in American viewership. I would've gladly woken up at 7AM to watch QPR in HD on my tellie.

Looks like I'll have to go with the audio on QPR Player until someone on the forum posts a decent stream..

That's not a mistake btw, in America that's what they do. I like Ice Hockey & the home team is always in the English away team slot
                    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                    And many more mistakes

That's strange. Given all the publicity this week about Al Jazeera, you would have thought they would have offered the service for free, at least at first. There is a lot of sport at the moment given that the MLB is reaching its climax, American football starts next week and the US Open tennis starts on Monday. You can find channels where you can watch these for free.

By the way, where are you in Brooklyn? My husband is from Bay Ridge.
