McClaren up for England U21 job...

If he gets it, it'll be a shame to lose him. I've a feeling Joey's form owes much to him. Joey's agent said he likes working with McClaren. Worrying.

He could still continue at us, maybe less days a week, or we should tell him once HR goes the job us his.
    Kept the faith!

This was always the reason why he took the job with us to boost his profile in the UK again and why he joined up for 3 month.

If that is true then good for him. He is a top coach and deserves another crack at a job like that. Don't see why he couldn't combine the two jobs if he wanted to. Most of the international work that would take him away would come between seasons when tournaments take place. Hope so as I would be sorry to lose one of the football people from the club.

I don't think he'll get the job TBH.

It's seemingly a FT job overseeing FA youth development as well as the U21s.

The FA are clueless so will give it to Gareth Southgate who's also applied.

Personally think McClaren a far better option, but this is the FA.... also i think Southgate already doing the youth development piece so they may want to merge the role.

Fair play to him if he does get it but if not, sign him up - top addition to our club

Thought Southgate was openly the FAs first choice

rather mcclaren than arry the cowboy every day of the year.

he knows his football, he's just been chastised by the media

Hope GS does get it. I took the pee when we appointed Mac but I think he has had a good effect on the squad. Would love to see him stay for the season personally
