If Johnson is not fit for Bolton, I wonder whether Zamora or Hitchcock will start.

Zamora just needs to score ONE GOAL and perhaps he would get some confidence back. Dont care if it bounces in off his #### he needs a confidence boost as he plays like he is clinically depressed. I reckon if he had more self belief he could be a good striker at championship level.

peraps he will be better on saturday away from home with less people on his back all game.

            Did think the same mate.

We're awful at hounding certain players, especially at home. Same happens every season, regardless of how well we're doing, always have to have one hate figure.

Viscous circle really. He's low on confidence and out of form, fans give him loads of grief, his confidence goes further down, he gets worse, he gets more abuse and so on and so on.

And whats even worse is that it has a knock on negative effect on the whole team because he ends up having to be carried by the rest of the players, thereby giving an added advantage to the opposition. TBH I think booing your own players is actually quite an insane form of behaviour.

                Completely agree.

How must Austin, Simpson, Henry, O'Neil and Hitchcock feel hearing that? Knowing that if they have a bad run of form or have a bad game the attention might turn on them. Our players and club are under enough pressure as it is to perform after coming down from the Prem and being tipped to go back up. Last thing they need is even more pressure.

Makes us look pretty shabby IMO. But each to their own I suppose.

Confidence player - never going to do well if we hound him constantly.

Do you have something really personal against Bob? Has he slept with your wife or something equally terrible, because your slating of the man seems to be going beyond purely football, and turning into a personal vendetta. Just wondered!

All obvious points here, but valid, he's carrying an injury, he's confidence is shot to bits and he is not even first choice. He is merely filling in until A.J is fit or fingers crossed we sign someone younger and less injury prone than both.

Why play him if he's injured and especially after how poor he was last season
