More sad about this departure. Proper player changed QPR for the better.Good luck to him, should never be forgotten as one of the main driving forces behind our championship winning team. Without Dezza Tarbs would have been ineffective.

Sending a senior player such as Derry out on a months loan seems pretty pointless to me

From a footballing POV makes sense, he won't get much game time for us this year. I should imagine this initial loan will be to see how he settles there and, if he does OK, Millwall will take him for the rest of the reason. Good luck to him, model pro & a great servant for us over the past few years.

Think the length says everything about the uncertainty surrounding our players right now. We may or may not have people coming and going in over the next few weeks but whats certain is that Derry wont be getting a lot of match time. If we're lacking players end of the month, Derry will come back, if not he will extend his loan.

It's a good move for him, give him some game time. Personally I think Derry is a better option than Henry but I like Derry and I'm glad he's playing first team football.
