    Blimey....

    ....Harry Redknapp is planning an audacious move to sign Jermain Defoe for the third time in his career. The Queens Park Rangers manager believes he can tempt the England forward to drop to the Sky Bet Championship with his chances of playing regularly at Tottenham Hotspur limited.

    Redknapp worked with Defoe at West Ham United and signed him for Portsmouth and Tottenham, although the striker may fear the move could affect his international chances with the World Cup finals next summer. Redknapp is also pursuing Scott Parker, the Tottenham midfielder who wants to move to another top-flight London team.

                  We couldn't persuade Hooper to drop down, so we sure as hell won't get an established England CF to drop down in a WC cup year...........imo

                                                          It'll be 5 strikers at the club if this is true, so Remy will definitely be sold or go on loan, or it could even mean a swap deal for Defoe...
