Reading have a good steady Championship side and in Le Fondre, have a very good striker.
Adkins has also made some very astute signings and imo is a better Championship manager than Redknapp.
They for me are the ones to watch along with Wigan, Bolton, Watford and Forest (Billy Davies is another good Championship manager).

Outsiders could be Brighton & Leicester even Millwall as there is always a surprise package (they have re-signed Morison on loan and he will score plenty).

As for QPR, depends on who else stays or signs.
On paper QPR have a good enough squad, but for me lack of options in defence could cause issues.
And without Taarabt, the midfield attack could lack creativity. Granero can possibly fill the role, but he too looks to be on the way out.
