He's not that bad though, his interceptions are very high

Exactly. The usual suspects who say he is useless now will soon be singing his praises next season. Can be sloppy and erratic at times but does far more than given credit for and chipped in with a few decent assists last season.

I'd be more than happy for Mbia to stay.
He can fill a number of positions like CM, CB and RB.
Yes, he dives and play acts and he misplaces passes, but he does win tackles, headers makes forward runs with the ball and sometimes delivers passes that lead to goalscoring chances and even goals (when the receover is capable of scoring i.e. Cisse (WBA) or Remy (Wigan).

For the record, I would also be happy if Granero stayed and played in an attacking midfield role (replacement for Taarabt?).

I thought he was ok last season. Average in a relegated team. He made mistakes but has the right attitude and at champ level he would be a decent player to still have

Appears to be demonstrating the right attitude if he is being genuine!! and appears genuinely happy to have scored the other night I think he is a bit of a character in the squad

Good summary Stanley he is either very good or dreadful there is no in-between. Like Adel if he could find a happy medium between the two he would be a far better consistent player

That's not a bad shout actually. One season in the championship will not harm him knowing he is a free agent in 6months to discuss a move and a fat signing on fee as a free agent

Exactly... Mbia staying is not a good thing imo. What he says to the press doesn't really matter, he'll say anything his agent tells him to say.
