I can do a job at QPR, says Anton Ferdinand

He said: “I’d like to help the club get back into the Premier League. That’s the aim. The chairman [Tony Fernandes] has got his vision and I want to be a part of that.

“As a professional I’m going to keep my head down and work hard and if I’m not starting I’ll continue to work hard. Playing football is the best job in the world, whether you’re in the Premier League, Championship or League One. Anyone who knows me knows that I just want to play football. If I’m not given a chance to play football I’ll look elsewhere to play...."

"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

Take a pay cut, not worth those wages.

Having had a spell away from the club (lets face it did ok first season before Terry thing) I think he could do well this season. At present we have Ned, Hill and Dunne and need at least one other centre back over the season. Hill and Dunne are old and slow and playing them together they would be beaten by a snail for pace even if said snail gave them a head start. At any one time has to be one of those two plus Ned or Ferdinand. He is one of those I'm happy to start the season with an open mind. Shame about OTT wages but more important we have players to help get us promoted looking at bigger picture.

He could probably do the cleaning job, but I think that is about the only job he can do at QPR!

My last memory of seeing him was against MK Dons at home. He isn't even a championship defender! Just terrible!

Would you honestly trust him getting your kids across the road safely?

I'm actually being serious as well.
