It's Redknapp, our manager, whose saying what a massive blow it is, not the fansComment

So he should have said "we missed out on Hooper, but don't worry we are about to sign X, Y and Z" The article also says Redknapp will now assess other targets including Burnley's Charlie Austin and is set for talks with Rangers owner Tony Fernandes on Friday, so I assume that Tony is in England now.Comment

I'm sure I read in one of the posts above that we only had a Plan A and because we had missed out the whole world was going to end. Others only quoted the doomsday version of the article to suit the hell in a handcart approach :strive:So he should have said "we missed out on Hooper, but don't worry we are about to sign X, Y and Z" The article also says Redknapp will now assess other targets including Burnley's Charlie Austin and is set for talks with Rangers owner Tony Fernandes on Friday, so I assume that Tony is in England now.#standuptocancer

Its the word HUGE which is the issue here, yes it is a set back but add HUGE and it makes it sound that we don't have other options, lets hope that isn't the case. I am more worried that HR didn't see the Hooper situation coming, I am not sure there is anyone on here who didn't think Hooper could end up elsewhere, especially with the time it was taking. I think even when the bid was accepted we all had HUGE doubts that he would end up here.

Harry must take share of QPR blame – and put it right
Dominic Smith believes Harry Redknapp must take a fair share of the blame for QPR’s relegation – and has a job on his hands to get them back up.
Twitter addicts will be well aware of the ‘Ed Balls’ phenomenon, the tweet that keeps on giving. When the Shadow Chancellor accidentally typed his own name into the tweet box rather than the search bar in April 2011, even in the cringing embarrassment of having made such an error, he would never have thought it would still be shared two years on, culminating in ‘Ed Balls Day’, when users from across the world replicated what is now one of the most famous utterances in the platform’s short life.

That´s true, actually. The only way he can save face now is to bring in two good strikers ASAP.I think a really good manager is one that tells the fans lies just to make them feel better , like I'm glad we never signed Hooper he would have only been coming for the money at the end of the day he's just a sack of sh/te anyhow
Yeah that would make me feel a lot better cos Hoopers reps used the club
But who knows; maybe he will do just that...next week!QPR

Interesting,I haven´t read it. What you are refering do absolutely make sense. So he should have said "we missed out on Hooper, but don't worry we are about to sign X, Y and Z" The article also says Redknapp will now assess other targets including Burnley's Charlie Austin and is set for talks with Rangers owner Tony Fernandes on Friday, so I assume that Tony is in England now.QPR
