But signing Townsend doesn't address the need for 2 forwards. Zamora clearly isn't interested and AJ won't play more than 15 games.

In a ideal world, I think we need another CB as cover (given Dunne & Hill have a combined age of 143) & 2 strikers.

From what I've seen of him I wouldn't say he looks that interested. He's made his money and had the best seaons of his career, now it's just about widning down and making sure that hip doesn't go permanently.
