Stainrod I'm a loyal backer of 'Arry, and i cannot for the life of me understand why he came out with all that yesterday. The whole fan base is as flat as a pancake and p*ssedoff.

To be fair to HR ....... Its pasted all over Sky , BBC , message boards , media outlets that we've agreed a fee with Celtic and we are discussing terms with the player ....

HR then gets asked by a news presenter what the status is and he states Hooper is a great player ....it looks like we're close .....BUT ITS NOT DONE TILL IT'S DONE ... What the F K else can he say .....Deny that we're talking to Hooper or say we're a million miles away on valuation when our fee has been accepted ???

Can't blame HR in spouting off because all he has done is answer the qustions put to him as honest as he believes it to be at the time ........

Norwich have been fairly cute on this one ...knowing they were Hoopers preferred destination ......getting us to do all the dirty work ...agree all the terms , fees etc and then matching it at the last minute !!

Dave Mc reckons terms with Celtic had been agreed for a while. Perhaps the player's agent leaked it to the press in order to have Norwich hurry up.

Harry was probably just reacting to what he'd been told by Beard who had been dealing with the transfer. It may just be the case that Beard just didn't realise we were being played by Hoopers agents in order to force Norwich's hand. Maybe if Harry had spoken to the agents himself he would have picked up on it and not made himself look so stupid

I can't guarantee the truth in this but it is being passed around that Hooper has not agreed personal terms with Norwich nor has he gone up for a medical as of yet. Could still be hope. Then again could be completely wrong. We'll have to wait and see
