Looks like Hooper is all set to ply his trade at that hub of eternal excitement.......Norwich.
Well, if anyone can ensure that Norwich will continue to help make up the numbers in the Premiersh!t for the foreseeable, then that man is Hooper.

Have to agree to be fair he has not said anything either way so can't blame a bloke for wanting to play in the premier league. It is a very frustrating situation though and done us no favours with the start only a week or so till the first game

We've been given the complete runaround with hooper, used as a pawn.

The vast majority of these sums are being met by our investors.

However a club like Norwich are working within the financial resources the club self generate, hence why, even though they are a premiership club they are unable to compete with the wages we can offer.

As I understand we have offered Hooper £40k a week over a 3 year deal - I guess the best paid player at Norwich is probably only on £25k per week max. As a footballer with a limited period of earnings which deal would you go for?

The trick however is to pay players that are willing to put a shift in for their wages - as we saw from the disaster that was last season we seriously got this wrong - its however looking like Tony et el are learning fast from their mistakes.

I am really looking forward to the start of the season - think we have the nucleus of a side that could be competitive back in the Championship - bring on Sheff Wed!!!
    Couldn't agree more, mate.

Norwich have got rid of Jackson, Holt, , Vaughan, Martin, Adeyemi and Morrison and have only brought in Tinky Winky up front so they need strikers

He's better than we could reasonably expect to get in our position. His strike rate is second to none. It would be a great signing.

I too assume Norwich will be jolted into action by us having a bid accepted, but we'll see.

We are 2/1, that tells me he is going to Norwich.
