Exactly. This will be sorted one way or the other soon, that's the main thing.

    Not counting chickens yet.

Last paragraph indicates Lennon wants to add a new striker by tomorrow for their Championship game next week. Perhaps this is dependent on the sale of Hooper.

Meanwhile, if Norwich’s interest in Gary Hooper hadn’t gained ‘saga’ status before yesterday then it has now with the Daily Mirror reporting the Canaries are desperate to pair the Celtic hitman with Ricky van Wolfswinkel next season.

QPR have had a £5.5m bid accepted earlier this summer but it is understood Hooper is keen on a move to a Premier League club with Norwich leading the chase.

It had been reported earlier in the summer that City were ready to walk away from the deal after setting Celtic a deadline to accept their bid, believed to be around £4m, but that now looks wide of the mark with rumours continuing to persist Hooper is on his way to Carrow Road.

Hooper came on as a second-half substitute for Celtic in their Champions League qualifying win over Cliftonville at Parkhead on Tuesday night – and got a good reception from the home fans.

Norwich’s interest is of course nothing new with Hughton coming close to signing the former Scunthorpe man in the January transfer window when Celtic rejected at least three bids from the Canaries.

However, with Hooper only having a year left on his contract and expressing a reluctance to extend that, the Glasgow giants are keen to recoup a fee.

While Hooper might be arriving, Leon Barnett could be heading for the exit with Doncaster Rovers reportedly weighing up a £1m bid for the defender.

Your guess is as good as mine.
    P*** off Norwich!!!

I think that the realisation that it's more likely to be Barnsley coming in for him rather than Barcelona will probably take care of that. I expect a tail between the legs job.......

I hope we offer him only the right wage and terms that protect the club,, not far too much and he accepts.

Redknapp? What are you talking about - we all know Fernandes makes all the signings, it's part of his plot for world domination & an "Air Asia Earth" that can compete in the inter-galactic games.
