How does your other half react to the start of the season?

My wife has no interest in football, when we were courting took her to QPR Brentford and she asked who the bloke in black played for. Against Bolton didn't realise the match had started and queried at half time why the match hadn't started at 3

However one thing is consistent, her disdain in the two weeks run up to the season start. It's like another woman has ruined her summer, like clock work she prints out the fixture list to identify my whereabouts for the season.

Drip drip now until August 3rd with her adverse comments. However QPR are why I am who I am, the small club from West London with bigger neighbours instilled justice, lower league brought with it loyalty, lack of silverware brings patience, the small following brought genuine friendship and my dad working nights 40 odd yrs ago at White City dogs to feed the family but loving the Rangers showed me what genuine hardship and love is and I try to pass this down.

The wife loves a R but the next two weeks the tin hat comes out.

Can relate to the calendar comment... Last night "we are going to Dorset on the 17th love, don't worry about football you've only got Ipswich at home"

Women are from another planet.. She's a palace fan too.

Forgot about the Westfields factor changed the environment forever, from a post match cheeky pint and glass of wine and hopping onto a tube to losing your car in the car park, shopping and full meal....4 nights all inclusive in Tenerife is cheaper

No woman should ever question their man going to football.

It's in the Magna Carta or something.....
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

                              You're forgiven.

It's not compulsory to get upset over a bit of banter, despite the alarming regularity.
