true supporters are often good judges of players if they have watched a few games and know a bit.

but message boards, twitter etc are about the worst reference you could have to judge a player imo.

wasn't just about every signing last summer greeted with fanfare on here - how many would love to ctrl-z the whole window now?

Never trust a keyboard warrior, specifically those who openly admit to not being able to attend games, yet seem to have such a strong an opinion on how good players are.

I'm Home and Away as much as I can. Averaged 32 league games a season over the last 3 seasons (due to getting married one year and two operations the two seasons before when I couldn't drive). Prior to that I averaged 38 league games a season over 7 seasons before that. My hard earned and my own eyes will be the judge, not match of the day highlights. Jesus, Adel would be PONY if you judged him on all the games he's played in that were televised! Says it all really...
