Of course he was. As i mentioned there are exceptions, but more often than not, especially players that drop divisions, they play for themselves first, team second. I think by time we have discovered that Adel Taarabt lies in this category. Initially on loan and then signed permanently. Played for himself, turning out late to training, causing trouble in the dressing room and god knows what else.

I am not keen on watford.

I just take notice of certain things over the course of a football season and this lads name popped up a number of times.

As could be said of EVERY single player discussed on this board....but some players are more likely to make better signings than others.....hence the discussion.

That's my point from earlier though, often (not always) loan players are so desperate to grab headlines they play for themselves and not the team becasue they want to get noticed. why square the ball for a tap in when you can try a glory shot from a wide angle.... far less likely the team score from it, but if it goes in you'll look brilliant. If the team donmt get enough points for whatever their season target is, does it matter to them... not really.
