Might as well say, Jane Melanie was seen at the pool in Solivita doing aqua aerobics this morning booom.
Is that really any good Jane? Why is the aqua bit needed? It has been suggested to me for off season training but I'm cynical..

Basically it is because I like swimming and being in the water. I believe that if you have to exercise you should do something you enjoy. Our class is designed for people in our community which is for people over 55, and it is especially beneficial for those who have joint injuries, arthritis, diabetes or back problems. Some of the people use walkers and wheelchairs.

Sometimes it is more difficult than land aerobics because the water changes movement and makes it more difficult with resistance against the muscles. On the other hand there is less strain on the joints so you do not feel sore after the class.

We use both noodles and hand-held weights.

Cheers Jane....I had a back injury at the end of last winter and my knees take a continual battering so maybe I should give it a go.
