  • Parker and Crouch are vital

Both rumored heavily and reported in the press that TF is on the case now so I hope that means they arrive.

Crouch because any team needs some height in the attack to upset defences and stop them dropping deep and Parker because he can play CM with one partner rather than 2 which allows 2 strikers and stops the midfield getting overrun.

Moneywise Parker replaces Mbia+Diakite Crouch replaces Zamora - reduces the wage bill and improves the team.

There are plenty of others to buy and most of the flops to sell but those two would make promotion a possibility.

Parker can replace Joey Barton and Crouch replaces Zamora. Barton will walk away for free after getting frustrated of now given pay offs and Zamora may decide to retire (hopefully).

David Mcintyre reckons Crouch is probable and Parker is possible.

We haven't given up on either and deals could still be done.

For what it's worth- Parker I think is essential if we're going to go straight back up. Crouch would be OK but not a fan of his age or wages.

Yep he is older and more expensive than some but the current squad are expensive and AJ/BZ are old and he would replace one of them I expect.

Not only would he would bring a structure to the attacking play and provide goals chances to the runners by laying it off or flicking it on, but also he is the most unselfish striker I have ever seen. If your looking for someone to set chances up for Remy etc, which is badly needed, he would do that all day long. When the defence is struggling he is the perfect out ball for them too. But the best thing would be that his aerial threat forces defences out which provides space for the pacey players to run into. Without that teams can just sit back, no space to play in, and any pace is nullified.
I think he is the pick of those type of players available that you can hang your hat on and know what you will get.

Crouch and Parker are vital to what? To the team, or the Air Asia marketing strategy?

                            Over to the conspiracy theorists
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
