              Kaspars Gorkss is a striker!

USA TODAY delivers current national and local news, sports, entertainment, finance, technology, and more through award-winning journalism, photos, and videos.

TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) — Kaspars Gorks scored the lone goal Saturday to give Latvia a 1-0 victory over Israel in a World Cup qualifier at Ramat Gan stadium.
The Queens Park Rangers striker headed in from a corner kick in the 59th minute, keeping the Latvians' 2010 World Cup hopes alive while all but ending Israel's chances of playing in South Africa.

Do a better job than Helguson, Pellicori, Agyemang etc.

He might if JM put him in the bloody team!!
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

                          2015/2016, average at best.....

                          2016/2017, same old, same old....

                          2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

Very much a confidence player for me and boy does he play well when his confidence is high. Thought he was our best player in the second half of last season.

Think one or two of the boo boys have got to him this season mind.

did any of our other internationals like tarabt and buz play yesterday?

saw david healy did well for northern ireland again - i know he rarely looks the same at club level but have always thought he has huge ability - where is he now? possibly available?
