Don't really understand why we're seeing a few negative posts on the potential signing of Richard Dunne. He'd be a cracking player in the Championship, he's also a leader and we desperately need one or two of those. Free transfer 1 or 2 year deal..........cracking signing in my opinion!

I really struggle to get my head around certain supporters who costantly say he is too old to players we are trying to sign. Dunne is 33 FFS,it wasn't that long ago when 37/ 38 was deemed to be getting too old. These pro's are fitter and healthier than they ever have been so a 33 year old is more like a 28/29 year old these days,I suppose you wouldn't want Ryan Giggs playing for us coz in some people's eyes he should be drawing his pension by now.

Hasn't really played for a year, was never his biggest fan during his prime - has more than his fair share of lapses in concentration. Hope he proves me wrong if we sign him though of course, and seems like a good character at least. I suppose if it's a one year deal I'll be happy.

Good player and a good pro, wouldnt be the worst signing we've made but after watching us last night the defence is the least of our problems, where are our goals going to come from???? and to be honest we need a creative midfielder to give what strikers we do have some chances, like him or not Tarbs would have made a differents yesterday but with him now gone (well not yet but soon) who is going to open teams up as all our central midfielders are the same.

Still think Harry is building an english spine with fighters. If Dunne is out we can rely on Hill and the other way around. I also believe Parker is on his way due to this and maybe/probably also Crouch since their time together at Pompey. They would all suit Harrys thinking quite well imo..

Glad there is only a few with the same opinion as you then. A top pro who's played in the toughest league in the world for how many years and still some are unhappy. Had a fall out with Lambert hence why he's not played for over a year. The fella has played for his national side for how many years and yet he's not good enough. Seriously how many different accounts does V'Block have...?
