Julio to join Napoli on loan

[I apologise in advance if this has already been posted].

Italian media claim Napoli have a deal with QPR to take Julio Cesar on loan, but are still quibbling over personal terms.

The goalkeeper has been told he can leave Queens Park Rangers following their relegation from the Premier League.

Also wanted by Arsenal, Sky Sport Italia insist QPR have agreed to hand him over to Napoli on loan.

The only remaining sticking points are around his wage demands, which are reportedly €2.6m per season compared to the €2.2m on offer at Napoli.

The Julio Cesar situation is also tied in with Roma, who are eager to sign Morgan De Sanctis from Napoli.

It’s suggested that if De Sanctis is not handed over quickly then the Giallorossi will target Palermo’s Stefano Sorrentino instead.

a huge if, but IF we bounce straight back up then it could mean that he'll play for us again next season as he enjoys London life. I think he's a class, but we'd be stupid to have him on our wage bill when we've got Green, who is nearly as good and on lower wages

I'd like to loan him now with alot of thought about it.

Could be a World Cup winning goalie next season
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

He's costing the club about £3.5m a year in wages, so selling preferably or a loan makes sense, he is a luxury we cannot afford.

How did you get £3.5m from €2.6m. I think you did it backwards.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Another kick in the teeth for rob green if this does happen as he'l know he'll be a bench warmer next season if we go back up.

It just shows you all that we are having trouble trying to sell him..

If you think about it no one has jumped in for him.

Read elsewhere that he's on 70k pw; either way its a lot of money. Also, I like it backwards....

Any news on this? I read a couple of days ago that Napoli have signed Rafael Cabral (from Santos), so perhaps the deal is off?
