Yeah - cheap and reliable goalscorer at this level.

          No brainer. Yes
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I am not as in the know as some of you regarding this player.

Can one of you who has watched him play for the full 90 minutes in one game describe how he plays and how that would benefit the team.

Crouch for example can hold the ball up, win headers, lead the line, tracks back to do his defensive work, full international, occupies the two CBs, good target for free kicks, unselfish in his play, reliable and tested under pressure, good attitude to his work according to those who have managed him.

How does Billy Sharp measure up to that competition.

Worth a punt. At least he will do his best to prove himself.

Total opposite to that IMO, just an out n out goal scorer poacher type player, scores for fun at every level though and would be excellent playing off crouch

Reminds me alot of Hooper to be honest, Probably a good shout if we can't attract the likes of Austin or Hooper.
