Why would he come to us if other prem teams have been sniffing about & we've been linked before and he hasn't got here yet?

Maybe he sees the championship as a stepping stone to a prem team or he may not be good enough for the prem as only playing against rubbish for the last few years.

Could be a decent championship forward (which we badly need)

There is the argument that the Barca game is a 1 off. Week in week out he is playing $hit football at the likes of Motherwell, Partick Thistle, Ross County etc. Championship far superior quality, and better supported. Not to mention London life being an attraction for a man of his age etc.

But he would surely go to a PL side if he was to make a return? Realy cannot see him coming tbh.

A handful of CL games and a season of playing Ross County etc? Wouldn't get too hung up on the CL being too much of a draw for people when playing for a Scottish side really.

But as stated above, can't see him dropping to Championship when there will no doubt be Prem clubs after him.
