I can't believe that there are some on here who are actually disappointed that we could actually sign either or both of these players.... Come on we were dogsh1t last season without any fight or guile up front.... These two might not play every game but they would certainly tick the aforementioned boxes....
Credit Harry et al with some intelligence in respect of knowing that a). Parker is never going to manage every game but would add much needed steel and leadership and b). As far as I am aware Crouch stays fit and whilst he might be in his early 30's that's hardly ancient is it and they'll almost certainly have younger strikers in the squad too.... Plus a two year deal would make sense in respect of helping to get us promoted and an experienced head if we get back up....
Blimey, we are a small club with a sh1te ground and fickle fan base who are lucky enough to have a geezer with shed loads of dough so lets have some perspective huh.... We should be honoured that players of the calibre of Parker and Crouch could possibly grace LR next season....
