The rest of us??? You mean you?

Has someone elected you the voice of the can't do this and can't say that movement? As you seem to be speaking on other people's behalf?

Pretty sure most people would be delighted if there was no hooliganism of any kind at QPR. It scared the **** out of me whenever there was trouble at games when I wax a kid, and I'm sure I wasn't alone in that.

I find the nostalgic circle jerks that crop up about the 'firms' and their exploits from time to time baffling tbh, but then the idea of fighting in the streets for fun is baffling too, so what do I know, eh?

i remember as a kid being fascinated watching fighting at football ,especially watching " an end " get run . I dont remember ever being really scared , probably because when i was small my dad took me , and i just presumed he could take care of me in any situation. And even a couple of years later at 11 or 12 years of age ,i can distinctly remember sitting with mates eating chips ,watching the grown men ( they might of only been in their late teens , but to us they were grown ups ) ,fighting.

We used to reenact the violence we had seen in the playground.

It was only when i hit my teenage years ,that any fear set in , when the likelyhood of being involved got greater.....

Yes mid 80's was quite lively. Arsenal,Spurs Ipswich away in the cup and then the seats flying into the away end from F block in the replay, scuffles at Southampton and a run around at filbert street, those were the days when fists were used not like these days. Over the last 3 years a knife has been pulled on a few occasions and that's when the pooper starts starts rumbling
