    Well done Cross it Dave, you have at least got the point. It looks as if he has not got a "charge hanging over his head" as other posters seem to bang on about, an investigation yes but not a charge. If the CPS drop the investigation and they could well do so, he might not even be there for the start of the season or by the end of the pre-season window on 31 August. So all these posts that we have him at least until some point in January are not a given or logical. Their hope as sad as it may seem is for him to be charged, wonder how he will score (excuse pun) then. Would people want an alleged rapist at the club?

            My biggest worry is that he stays but the pending court case screws his head up and he's worthless on the pitch....

              What I can't understand is why it is going to take until September to decide. It seems very convenient for the Club since it will be too late for a transfer at this time. Yes I know this is a conspiracy theory.
