I think/hope we might see a better Hoilett next season. None of the players we bought lacked the skills they needed imo but they did lack application/attitude. Lets see what these players do under Harry and a full pre-season, and clearing out the bad attitudes in the squad

Too true. Townsend really showed up a lot of the dross in the team.

He was on £5k a week or less according to Harry and his performances pi$$ed all over every single one of the stars who are paid more in a week than he got all season.

The club really went to town last summer paying the maximum possible for the minimum return imaginable.

Which wouldn´t have been a problem in Germany. The split in the dressing room should have been sorted by Warnock,Hughes and even Redknapp respectively.

I agree, they weren't $h1t, but the management,coaching, orgnaisation, tactics and team selections were.

The midfield seemed to change almost every game, and the organiition in defence at set pieces especially pre-Dcember was useless.
Add to that the striker options Hughes had selected for his August -January sqaud meant that QPR struggled to score goals. This is the main reason why the players, underperformed so badly. Once the rot set in and QPR failed to win a game, the players' confidence just drained away.

Skill and ability are great to have, but when a player loses confidence he will struggle to use the 1st two attributes effectively.

If QPR sell a lot of the "$h1t" players they will go on to perform well at their new clubs.

Hughes (and his coaches) and Redknapp screwed up at least just as much as the players did last season. A bit of stability in their team selections might have seen results imrove significantly.

Agree, annoys me when people just brand the players as sh1t. You dont become sh1t over night. Whatever the situation for the last two seasons with managers, in-fighting, bad attitudes, bad training etc, it was certainly not conducive to high performance. Could've brought any player in and they would not have performed.

I think Traore could do well playing left wing, he's not bad at crossing the ball and loses concentration when defending at LB. I also think Hoilett could do a job for us next season, hopefully he has a good pre-season.
