I would have linked remy up with cisse, as someone else suggested. Last season we struggled for strikers and harry was always saying we were short but he shipped cisse out!
With better service i think cisse would have performed better, certainly better than a hobbling zamora or bothroyd.

When he was on the run some will still say he got the ball too late. Hence he was nearly caught offside 8 out of 10 times pr. game last season.
I will deffo miss the good times he gave us.

tbf to the bloke he is going a better way about it than some of our other players wanting to leave. he's admitted he wants a move back to france but hasn't said that he wants it to be this summer and, unlike Cesar who admitted his agent is trying to get him a move, has said he will be back at QPR on the 1st day of pre season. he isn't trying to worm his way out of the club and accepts he could be with us still come the start of the season and doesn't seem too dramatic about that happening.
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

I didn't mind Cisse but I think his best is past him now, he was poor this season but so was everyone.

Still at least we can get him off the wage bill and recoup some money.

For me Hughes ruined Cisse last season by slowing our play down and Harry never gave him a proper crack. Cisse is all about playing on the shoulder and balls into the box.

Season gone our build up play was painfully slow and although having wingers how often can you remember us getting the ball wide and putting balls into the box to attack?? far to often we got to the edge of the box stopped checked back and came back into the centre of the park, playing that way was never going to show Cisse at his best.

Look at his goals for us Villa away quick ball forward plays on last defender goal, Liverpool quick play and ball into the box goal, Bolton played on last defender quick ball forward goal, Man City quick ball forward hes on last defender goal

This season we played so slow it ended in no space and him being comfortably picked up I would go as far as to say we made Cisse look bad

Are we forgetting that players who are not great in the Premiership might be very useful in the Championship?

The defenders in the championship won't be as quick to play offsides and if cisses head was in it he could easily destroy that division . Trouble is his head isn't in it and hr doesn't seem to want him . Cheers for the good times djib you were dreadful last season but was by no means the worst player in hoops

I know the competition was not great, but in preseason last year Cisse tore all of these teams apart.

No but he showed no interest last season. In Fact Cisse's career has been like that. He always impressses when he first moves to a new club and then the next season becomes useless.

He didn't become useless and he is miles better than Championship level. He would destroy the Championship if he was half interested as long as we created chances. As someone said above we created nothing for him last season and he lost interest. I dont agree with his attitude and lazy antics at all but you make out he is not good enough to play for QPR in the Championship when he has teams playing in Europe next season after him!

What do you think was the difference in terms of assists last season compared to the season before? Barton? What has changed in your opinion?

Could have been that Cisse is trouble behind the scenes, ego problem?

Just for the record, that was exatly what I said in my reply to the opening poster. Could it be that Harry will play cisse how he should be ? After all he is our player.
